iPhone 5 will have a 4 inch screen!
According to earlier reports by the Wall Street Journal, the next generation iPhone 5 will have a 4 inch screen (currently 3.5 so far). Citing sources familiar with the matter, the WSJ said in its report that Apple has ordered screens to its Asian suppliers with a measure of “at least 4 inches diagonally. ” Previously numerous reports have emerged in this direction also including the statements of the analyst, Brian White of Topeka Capital Markets, which suggested that the next iPhone will have a larger 4 inch screen and a new design.
This sleek new look will be the main reason, why consumers decide to switch to the iPhone 5, while we believe the addition of 4G will also be an important asset to attract buyers for the new device.
The iPhone 5 will have a smaller dock!
Earlier this month iLounge outlined several rumors about the iPhone 5, one of them is that the device will include a smaller dock connector. This rumor has been revived by the site iMore who also reported a similar news regarding a move towards a more discreet connection port. Recall iMore generally has a pretty good track record on predicting the characteristics of future Apple products. The report, however, mention the fact that Apple is currently still in the prototyping phase and the design is not set in stone yet.
A thinner iPhone 5, equipped with the protective glass Gorilla two?
ILounge, the blog focuses on the apple also reported that a “reliable source” had confirmed details of a more slender and more of the iPhone, and with a protective glass scratch resistant Gorilla 2 to before, and a metal panel at the back. The report itemized further than the next generation iPhone will be about 20 percent thinner than its predecessor. The approximate measurements are 125mm by 58.5mm by 7.4mm – a jump of 10 mm high, about 2 mm in thickness reduction, and a width substantially identical,” wrote iLounge.
According to our source, Apple will make a major change for the back cover with the addition of a metal panel on the back of the new iPhone. This panel will be flat, not curved, metal, not ceramic.
